Separation Party of Alberta - "Giving Alberta to Albertans" |
Judy was born at Leroy, Saskatchewan to Bob and Bertha Gray of Viscount, Sask. She has 2 brothers, George of Viscount and Russ of Calgary, Alta. She moved to Saskatoon in 1969 to work at the Royal Bank of Canada. She has remained in the banking industry and presently works at TD Canada Trust in Red Deer.
Judy moved to Red Deer in August 1989. "Whenever I came to Red Deer to visit my brother Russ, I always felt like I was coming home." It is a great place to live. Her widowed mother, Bertha, moved to Red Deer in 1991 and has been living with Judy since 2002. During the 15 years she has lived in Red Deer, Judy has met many people through her work at the TD Bank and through her membership at Gaetz United Church.
Judy has taken her duty as a citizen seriously. She was a proud Canadian and always voted on the right side of the political spectrum including the newly formed Conservative Party of Canada. She was disappointed after the last federal election realizing nothing would change. She found she was in agreement with the policies and principles of the Separation Party of Alberta. (SPA) and realized that if there were to be any positive changes, it would not happen inside Canadian Confederation. Judy believes we must use our excess revenues from oil and gas, a non-renewable resource, to diversify our economy. She believes the alternative is Alberta becoming a have-not province for our children and our grandchildren.
