Grant is a fourth generation Albertan, with both sets of his grandparents settling in here in 1905. Grant was born and raised on the family farm 3 miles west of Vulcan. Grant attended County Central High School, where he graduated with honors, and continues to be actively involved in local sports and community events. 

Grant has always been keenly interested in politics. He believes that this is an opportunity for him to try and bring about change at the Provincial level, and to bring a greater awareness of policy brought down on us from the Federal government. 

Grant believes strongly that Albertans, especially those in the Little Bow constituency, have long desired changes to education, infrastructure, health care, immigration, military, and taxation in Alberta. 

Most of all, Grant believes that Albertans want to have a strong voice that will help determine their future.
