Lethbridge, Alberta (27/05/03)- The Separation Party of Alberta, currently working towards registration under the Alberta Elections Act, will be holding a town hall meeting in Lethbridge on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2003.

Bruce Hutton, founder of the Law-abiding Unregistered Firearms Association (LUFA), and Chairman of the Founding Committee of the Separation Party of Alberta will be speaking to those in attendance at the Lethbridge Ramada Inn & Suites- Scenic Room on Tuesday, June 3rd at 7:00pm, with doors opening at 6:30pm.

The Separation Party of Alberta believes that in order to ensure the future of Alberta for Albertans, Alberta must become an independent nation separate from Canada.  In order to accomplish this, the Separation Party of Alberta has unified the current Alberta independence movement, incorporating the remnants of the Alberta Independence Party, the Alberta Independence Association and the Republic of Alberta Association under the Separation Party banner.

In the coming months the Separation Party of Alberta will be focusing its efforts on gathering the required number of signatures for registering a provincial political party whose goal is to facilitate a peaceful separation of Alberta from Canadian confederation and form an independent nation.
